We offer a rewarding package for our sponsors. Platinum, Pink Lotus and Diamond cash sponsors may set up a promotional booth in a prime location at the event, have their logos displayed prominently on our publicity materials, including posters and corporate banner on the Main Stage, and be recognised on our website, including on the Moving to Hanoi page. Platinum and Pink Lotus sponsors will appear on this year’s tickets.

A number of TV stations typically cover our bazaar and interview Pink Lotus sponsors. In the past, these segments were aired on prime time TV one week before the bazaar. The Word and Hanoi Grapevine also have featured our event. HIWC places additional features in Vietnamese online media. We translate our posters and press releases into Vietnamese, Japanese, Korean and French.

The 2018 Annual Charity Bazaar Needs You! (And it’s Fun.)
An event the size of our Annual Charity Bazaar can only be successful with a strong team of volunteers. Just four hours of your time will make all the difference. Or volunteer for the whole day. Please join us and make the day a huge success. And encourage family members and friends to get involved too.
Volunteers should be over 15 years old (G9 and up), and are responsible for purchasing an entry ticket to the Bazaar and for their own food and drinks. For students volunteering for 4 hours, HIWC will issue certificates for community service.

Country and Community Tables
Our international food fair is one of the most popular features of our bazaar. We greatly value the support of embassies and missions and their communities in Hanoi who each year supply the delicious and authentic cuisine of their home countries. In 2016, the Israeli Country and Community Table – the highest earner – was a huge success, contributing a record amount, followed closely by Belgium and Germany. We are grateful to all countries and communities who support us. We know everyone gives up their time and makes a big effort. Our congratulations to the German Table and the Hola Hanoi Spanish speaking Community Table who were awarded the title of Best Large Country and Community Table and Best Small Country and Community Table respectively by judges from our Pink Lotus Sponsors Rent-A-Port, Techcombank, JYSK and St Paul American School.

Because our bazaar is a charity fundraiser, we ask all Country and Community Table participants to buy tickets.
Restaurants may only participate as part of a Country and Community Table under the auspices of an embassy. As this is a charity event, all profits must be donated to HIWC.
As this is a family fun day out, we regret that Country and Community Tables may not sell hard liquor. This also applies to Commercial vendors and all other participants.
As in previous years, we are giving priority to HIWC Community Aid Committee (CAC) partner organisations 2017/2018 who want to participate in the Bazaar. We will provide one table each and four adult tickets free of charge to each HIWC partner organisation. Additional tables are available for a small fee. Partner organisations must apply by the deadline to be included in advertisements. Tables will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Unallocated tables and tickets may be purchased by other non-CAC funded charities or social enterprises based in Vietnam. Organisations should apply by the deadline to be advertised, and places will be drawn by lottery.

Important: Please Note
Because our Bazaar is a charity fundraiser, we ask all Charity Table participants to buy tickets, except our project partners for whom we will provide up to four free tickets. Charity Tables may not sell hot food but may sell coffee or other hot and cold drinks, snack food and packed items such as biscuits.
We are inviting applications from commercial vendors selling goods and/or services, but not food. There will be two commercial table (stall) areas this year – small stall units for smaller businesses and larger stalls for bigger commercial entities. In selecting applicants, we will be looking to create an exciting and varied shopping experience for the public. Information for Schools and Kindergartens
We welcome the participation of international schools and kindergartens in our bazaar. There are several ways to take part:
- By offering cash or in-kind sponsorship (See Sponsorship details).
- By taking part in our Kids’ Zone and helping us to raise funds by providing fun games and activities for children. This is enormously popular aspect of the event.
- By encouraging talented youngsters who sing, dance or play music to take part in our entertainment programme on the Main Stage.
