HIWC membership is open to all expatriate women living in Vietnam. Expatriate men are encouraged to become Associate members. Membership runs from September to August each year. Limited activities are scheduled during the summer months of June, July and August and the Lotus News is not published during this period. Please check the HIWC website for updates at this time.

Membership dues are 450.000 VND per year. Annual dues payment entitles the member to an HIWC membership card, monthly copies of the Newsletter, discounts for all Club sponsored functions, priority reservations for all applicable HIWC sponsored functions, and benefits from participating sponsors of the Discount Program.

To join the Hanoi International Women's Club please download the membership form, print, complete, sign and deliver with fees (450,000 VND) at registration luncheon , or any subsequent HIWC event.

Membership of HIWC for entitles you to receive a copy of the Lotus News each month. Although our distributors endeavor to see that you receive your newsletter on time, now and again copies do go astray! If you have not received your copy of Lotus News in the beginning of the month, please check:

• that you have informed us of your current address
• that you have a secure and labeled postbox or reliable person to receive post at your address
• that your security guard or maid knows to pass post on to you when it arrives
• members living in apartments and residential compounds usually have their newsletters delivered to reception.

Please find out what system your reception has for distribution of mail. Should you still fail to locate your copy of the newsletter, extra copies are available at all our functions, such as the monthly Newcomers Coffee Morning and Luncheons.

Remember: If you due to be leaving Hanoi in the near future or know of anybody who has already left, please be sure to inform out membership coordinator Jessie Richardson.
